The Amigo Mobility Marketing Summer Internship program places you in the middle of our marketing initiatives — marketing strategy, communications, creative development, inbound marketing, social media, innovation and marketing research analytics. This 12-Week Program is targeted towards individuals who are interested in developing a marketing career with a global organization and working within a small-team environment.

 Position Summary

The Marketing Specialist Intern reports to the Marketing Manager and works with the Communications segment of the Marketing Department. This position is responsible for assisting with the creation of communications for internal clients and marketing initiatives, based off of inbound marketing briefs, marketing request forms, and senior leadership initiatives. The Marketing Specialist Intern will work closely with other Marketing Specialists in a creative structured environment that is focused on collaboration to effectively reach marketing goals. The Marketing Specialist Intern is expected to take direction, be a team player and actively contribute to the marketing team and to the business.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Help in collaboration and implementation of corporate content marketing initiatives such as blog, newsletters, and case studies, white papers and product literature — to ensure customer engagement and inbound marketing opportunities.
  • Help enhance and maintain corporate collateral materials including PowerPoint templates, product literature, signage and website landing pages.
  • Help design, create, and manage to completion all social media related efforts.
  • Help create monitoring plans and reports for brand analytics and market research.


  • Help execute the day-to-day delivery of email marketing campaigns, product literature, newsletters, digital content, social content, event materials, etc.
  • Help review and monitor timelines for content marketing projects
  • Participate and contribute to marketing activities to help achieve company goals
  • Monitor content management system
  • Ensure that all content marketing materials undergo brand review and adhere to strict brand guidelines
  • Enter and maintain leads into CRM
  • Monitor and distribute campaign analytics reports
  • Contribute to team effort by performing related tasks as required

Required Skills:

  • Excellent computer skills, at a minimum candidate must be proficient in Adobe
  • InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator as well as Microsoft Office on a Mac platform
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent analytics knowledge
  • Ability to work within a team
  • Must be self-motivated and driven
  • Ability to meet deadlines and/or targets

Education and Experience: (Preferred)

  • Currently pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
  • Junior or Senior
  • GPA: 3.0 or higher
  • Demonstrated academic excellence and leadership.
